Who We Are

Our Story

Cardinal believes to deliver on its service promise of exceeding the expectations of its customers; they must focus on outstanding service performance, operational excellence, utilising the best technology and developing their productive engaged people. To achieve the above, the following values of Health and Safety, Quality, Communication, Teamwork and Passion are encouraged in all aspects of the business on a daily basis, working towards their vision ‘To be the best 3PL Provider in New Zealand’.

Cardinal Logistics commenced operations in 1992 as a freight forwarding company. Their high levels of customer service created an opportunity for them to expand into the logistics industry in 1995 with the opening of a 10,000 square foot warehouse. Cardinal is now one of New Zealand’s leading and fastest-growing logistics companies, specializing in providing distribution and storage solutions with a strong focus on grocery products and other FMCGs. In 1998, with an increase in clients, further expansion was necessary with the movement to a larger facility of 6000 square metres. Between 2001 and 2008, Cardinal continued to grow it's client base, and with that, their operational facilities.

Cardinal Logistics currently operates out of three warehouses in Auckland, one warehouse in Christchurch, with a satellite site in Palmerston North. The distribution centre sites include:

• 71-77 Westney RD, Mangere – 31,000 m2

• 19 Nesdale RD, Wiri – 27,000 m2 and 18,000 m2 facility

• 550 Waterloo RD, Hornby – 18,000 m2 facility
