Gary Takiari - Shorthaul Driver
Gary became a valued member of the Cardinal team around 24 years ago in 1992 delivering products in a van when Cardinal was based out of Tony's home office. He says that he feels 'priviledged to be able to see and be a part of Cardinal's growth into such a successful business today'. Gary now covers the Hamilton route and forefront in his mind is creating a excellent experience for both the customers and his co-workers by delivering his goods on time, undamaged and with the correct paperwork. Gary is a well respected member of the team with a great sense of humor and is always up for the daily challenges of his role.
Kim Cullen - Warehouse Administration Manager
Kim Cullen has been with Cardinal Logistics since 1997 and over 25 year’s experience in logistics. Kim has seen the company grow from approximately 20 staff to over 400 and is well-known and appreciated by all staff and customers that she deals with. As the Warehouse Administration Manager for our Mangere warehouse; Kim overseas all orders processed and works closely with all clients. She works closely on a daily basis with key areas of the operation, ensuring all orders are processed and picked on time to reach their destinations within the required time frames. Kim is passionate about her job and will always assist when needed with customer queries and with the transition of new clients.
Salesi Fusikata - Night Operations Manager
Salesi says that Cardinal has given him the opportunity to kick off and develop his career with Logistics. Salesi started as a Storeperson and currently holds the position of Operations Manager - Night Shift. He recognises the many challenges of the role and says "Without the help of key management staff past and present I wouldn’t become who I am today with Cardinal."
Dave Tapara - Warehouse Manager
Dave joined the Cardinal team at the Asaleo Care Chch site in October 2010 as a warehouse operator doing pick and put away tasks. It wasn’t long before Dave was promoted to Supervisor after demonstrating a mature work ethic and broad knowledge of the operation. In 2017 Dave was promoted to Manager and now leads a high performing team of 10 staff across 2 shifts. As a Manager, Dave takes his H&S responsibilities very seriously and therefore has a visible presence out on the floor where he can be seen promoting an excellent safety culture within the team.It’s clear Dave’s a guy who lives and breathes Cardinal’s values through his work each day, which has earned him the respect of all his colleagues and customers.
Cathy Payne - Customer Solutions Supervisor
Cathy started with Cardinal Logistics in April 2019 as a Customer Solutions Supervisor and has worked on building the Customer Services team into a solutions focused central contact point for the Customers of Cardinal Logistics. She brings to Cardinal 8 years Customer Service experience gained in both the Freight Forwarding and Transport industries. Cathy takes her job seriously and is always looking for ways to improve our Customer Solutions team and any other processes she can grab a hold of.
